Being able to prepare foods using only an open flame is empowering. Teaching children how to respect and use fire to cook engages them and gives them another motivator to enjoy the outdoors. Bring the entire family and come get some meal prep ideas for your next camping trip.
Betsy is a former restaurant owner and has cooked with her family extensively for years. She’s developed the hot lunch program at a local charter school, nutrition curriculum at the university level and hands on cooking with children at the Co-Op.

The event will use the Farmstand area including the fire circle and market tents (for protection from sun or rain). Parking available along Alexander Ave. Or take Bus #6 to the Thompson and Alexander stop and walk a couple of blocks east on Alexander until you see the market area.
