Solar Cooking and Oven Making

  • May 11, 2019
    10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Join us so that you too can unleash the power of the sun this summer to cook some meals. We’ll be demonstrating building an oven out of easy-to-find and inexpensive materials and also cooking a dish or two. If the sun doesn’t happen to come out that day, well, we’ll at least put together the oven and learn the basic concepts of solar cooking. Hoping you’ll join us.
Beeara has been exploring this form of cooking for the past couple of years and has received a lot of satisfaction from it. Russ is downright handy with building things and he’ll have all sorts of handy tips to share in the oven building process.
